Sting Steven James Borden in Wrestling

Sting has been in the rings since the early 80s. Steve (Sting) starting his wrestling debuts in 1985, making him twenty-six years old at the time. Sting stood 6'3 and weighed in at about 252 pounds, and was born in Venice Beach , located in California. One of his all-time favorite moves in the rings included the Scorpion Death Lock.

Sting fought at the WCW World Champions winning seven times, at the WCW US Championships winning two times, and at the WCW Tag Teams winning twice. Sting was famous for not taking off his mask. There for a while the battling between Sting and opponents consisted of who could get stings mask off first.

Steve (Sting) started out wrestling in the state of California , thus wrestling as a tag teamster. The first wrestlers Sting joined where Hellwig, or otherwise titled the Ultimate Warrior. This Power Teamsters of the USA later became known as the Heels Blade Sprinters. (Runners)

The teamsters intimidate many wrestlers in the Southern Mid parts during matches at the UWF rings. Later Ultimate became the Dingo Warrior, since he left the UWF after disputing a contract agreement, thus joining the WCW. (World Class Wrestling)

Sting continued his brawls as a teamster, joining with the well-known Steiner, and becoming the UWF Tag Teamsters Champ. Sting moved along the ropes, joining the NWA, taking over World Champ in this arena. At the time, Sting made headway, since he would often use moves in the rings that were uncommon for his mass, as well, he illustrated excellent conference skills and he was great at getting attention from the audience.

In 88' Sting was exceptional noticed, since during the Clash of the Champs, Sting he battled the all-time championship Rick Flair. This brawl was a limited time, and the match latest nearly an hour before Sting took control of the rings.

After the battle with Flair, Sting went out to take the Great Muta's title. The effort on Sting's part however, lead to a brawl with Flair, since his effort in taking the belt from Muta, lead to a feud between Jones stables, which included Muta and Funk. Thus, this lead to Flair teaming with Sting, which the two men tagged against the Muta and Funk, yet Buzz Sawyer, joined in, which led Flair to defeating Funk. This was a match to get the men out of the ring permanently, which lead to the Horsemen teamsters. (Ole, Anderson and Flair battled Jones)

Later however, the Four Horsemen separated after Sting took on a brawl to take hold of the title, winning it from Rick Flair. This caused retaliation from Ole and Anderson , thus led to injury for Sting, putting him out of the matches for some time.

Still Sting returned to the matches after recovery. At this time, Sting brawled with the Horsemen, gaining control while issuing vengeance on Flair, thus taking the title. I recall seeing this match live, thus the Dog, Steiner, and Orndorff joined to help Sting during this match.

Sting later brawled with the all-time wrestler Lex Luger, which later led to Sting moving toward backstage. During this time, Hulk Hogan came to the rings, which riled Flair and Sting, since Hogan was deemed the top honcho over the two men.

Sting losing minority, lost more however when Randy Savage stepped in the rings: Still, Sting managed to hold the titles for a time. This change in wrestling irritated the crowds, since Sting and Nature Boy had more seniority over Hogan and Savage.

Sting often stood proud in the rings. While he went through hardships like many other wrestlers, Sting failed to toss in the towels even though sometimes it appeared he would lose.
